First of all I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and may all your new year's resolutions be fulfilled. I know it might be too late, but I'd also like to wish everyone a very belated Merry X'mas and Selamat Hari Raya Haji.
It's been an eventful 2006 for me. I've made many new friends and have also come to realise who my real friends are. It's very important to know who your true friends are, and to always cherish them, along with your family.
I'm sure there were moments in 2006 that we are very proud of, and also those we wish didn't happen. But my advice is to always look towards the future and learn from our mistakes. Nobody is perfect, but of course we will try to be the best that we can be.
Finally, the album is out! Things are really starting to get busy and more exciting. I wrote the songs in it from my heart, and they depict my life experiences and pass relationships. I truly hope that you're able to connect with the songs and hopefully, you will at least have one favorite song. I'm really proud of the album and I thank you guys for making it possible.
Thanks for coming to all the autograph sessions and shows I have had thus far. There will definitely be more shows coming up, leading to a showcase that we're planning to have in February. Do look out for it and thanks for the support for the album!
My birthday was definitely something to remember. Every year, you guys never fail to amaze me. I had sooooo much fun at IMM, and of course at the birthday bash. Hope you guys enjoyed my impersonation of my idol MJ... Hahaha, it was hilarious. I received soooo many presents on my birthday. Thank you! I love every single present, card, note and candy that I received!
I wish to thank everyone at TB.net for your amazing efforts on the website and the amazing birthday bash especially, Cheryl and Shafik. I truly appreciate all of your efforts and I definitely won't take it for granted. Thanks, guys!
I had fun at this year's countdown show. It was pretty interesting to be in two countries at the same time for the countdown... Haha... Well, not exactly. I was on one show on ntv7, and another on Channel 5. It was a really good experience performing in KL and I have to thank ntv7 for inviting me. I enjoyed singing all of the songs, but my favorite was, of course, Me & Mrs Jones!
Back in Singapore, it was raining at VivoCity but the show must go on for the countdown. Although the rain stopped right before I was about to perform, the stage was still wet and slippery. Thank god I didn't fall! Hope you guys enjoyed the countdown show!
There will be many more appearances coming up in January (the campus concerts!!) that'll give me more opportunities to see you guys, and of course to perform for you. I hope to see you guys there, and thank you again for always being by my side.

The campus concert was GREAT! Especially the one at NYP. It was such a grand entrance made by Taufik. The best thing was, he sang 9 songs frm both his previous & latest albums. Wow.. the auditorium was so full. It's good to know that all your fans are still supporting you even though it's been almost 3 years. And the songs in his new album were all very good. Anyway, all the best Taufik!
