You guys are just amazing! We got another one! I can't thank you enough for always being there for me and giving me your undying love, I promise you I will always work hard and make sure all your efforts will never be in vain.
It's been a pretty busy 2007 so far. There were the album promotion tours where I went to all the different shopping centers and you guys were always there to support. Thank you to each and every one of you for coming, and also for the presents!
Then came the campus concerts. This was a lot of fun because I've never done campus tours before. It was like a mini showcase and I had a lot of fun performing at the different campuses. When I was on stage, it kinda reminded me of my 1st ever showcase at Kallang. I hope you guys liked the surprise acoustic performance I had because I enjoyed that segment especially. Hope to do more school tours in the near future. Who knows, maybe I'll come to your school next!
When they first asked me to guest perform on The Dance Floor, I was a little nervous initially because I felt as guest performer on the show, I should at least be on par with the contestants, haha! Taking the challenge, I practised really hard and thought it went pretty well. What do you guys think? Hope you enjoyed the performance! Wel....good luck to all the contestants.
24th Feb 2007 was the best day of the year thus far. In the afternoon, it was the long awaited Ria High Tea. You didn't expect to see me on a bike riding into the ballroom did you? It's ok, neither did I, haha! When they first I asked me I was like, are you serious? And when they told me I was going to be the pillion and the rider was a girl and she just passed her driver's licence recently I was like, uh oh! Haha, uh oh to the fact that she just passed not because she's a girl, hey I'm not bias ok. She was a good rider and kept calm while she was riding it. If you guys were in her position and saw what you had to ride thru, you would be nervous. Once I got on stage, your screams and cheers were amazing. Sooo amazing that I almost didn't hear the music. But it was soo much fun. We should do it again yeah, hint hint.
Speaking of RIA, Thanks for making Usah Lepaskan #1 for the 5th week running and Sesuatu Janji at #9,. You can't imagine how happy I am to have songs that I wrote and produced on the charts! Thank you!
Pesta Perdana 9 was great! When it was time for me to present, I was nervous. With so many things running in my head, ("What was the script I'm suppose to memorize?"..."Am I gonna win?"..."Man, I'm hungry"..."Is my fly open?"..."HI MOM!"), I actually stumbled on a word. It's "K-E-J-E-L-I-T-A-A-N". my friend, haha. Thank god, you guys are very forgiving, I hope. When my name was announced as the winner, the first thing I thought was, you guys had done it again!
Once again, thank you for your votes and always being there for me. It's gonna be an amazing year I promise and I hope you guys will join me for the ride. If it's not too late, Happy Chinese New year and I’ll see you guys soon, peace.
