Thnx for writing in but you people shouldnt commented negatively about the writter who has her own opinion! stand up for Taufik but making bad remarks on the writer just show that u too are just making mountains out of molehills and making bad remarks unneccesarily. Can we blame her then? She is at least paid for doing that!

The letter actually did not have any bad comments abt the writer, it merely pointed out ways in which Taufik did well that night.
I'm from the media industry & actually the writer did not give an objective assessment of the concert. That is besides the point. I can go on all day about what the writer should or should not have done but let's not go there.
The letter from the tb.net was intended to give singaporeans a different view of the concert & that was achieved. That's all that matters, right? So that Taufik's reputation stays in tact.
So good job tb.net team for your role in this. :)

This commenter is probably referring to some of the fiknatics here who go overboard in making negative remarks against the ST Life's writer.
I agree that we should stand up for Taufik but do not impose our adulation of him on others. I'm a fiknatic too, please don't lambast me for reminding some of you guys to stay cool and collected, to maintain composure when "da man" gets negative comments. If I'm condemned for speaking up, it goes to show that some fiknatics are feeling insecure about Taufik's future in the industry. Sad to say this but I notice in recent months that sometimes we do get too emotional even against other Fiknatics who sounded rational.
He's knows all too well that not everybody is his fans. He will be saddened if he finds out that Fiknatics are going against each other. Agree to disagree but respect each other among Fiknatics, it will only spells good times ahead in Taufik kingdom.

Thanks for the letter TB.net. I disagreed with ST writer too. She has her opinion but she did not give a fair review, I attended the concert too and I think the night belonged to all performers not just one person.
Though I am a great Jon and Taufik fan, I think Taufik was the outstanding one! Good job Taufik, you are the best!

If you read Sunday Times pg 43 webtreads - No more Idol? there is a discussion in www.sgforums.com about Taufik and his new songs. With such remarks, Taufik will not only improve himself but will get better & better!!
