IT was a celebration of Malay pop music through the years last Friday, when musos got together to perform songs of past and present.
There was the usual trotting out of star talent: Taufik Batisah, who’s currently working on a new album – so we’re told – was on hand to represent the young(er) generation, while rocker stalwarts such as Hanafie Warren and Jatt Ali were in their element as they rocked the night away.
